VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER 2.3
GENERAL
See Figure 2-1. Each vehicle has a 17-digit serial or Vehicle
Identification Number (V.I.N.) stamped on the steering head.
A Motor Identification Number is stamped on the left side
crankcase near the front of the engine.
NOTE
Always give the full 17-digit Vehicle Identification Number
when ordering parts or making inquiries about your Buell
motorcycle.
