For the most natural-sounding results, choose low settings; transpose by
no more than a third or a fourth. Higher values, though, can be used for
special effects.
To Apply Time/Pitch Stretch to Audio Data...
1. Select the audio data to be affected.
2. Choose
Audio Effects-Cakewalk FX-Time/Pitch Stretch
from the
Edit
menu or from the pop-up menu to open the
Cakewalk FX Time/Pitch Stretch dialog box.
3. Set the time/pitch stretch parameters, as described in the table
above.
4. Click OK.
Pro Audio applies the time/pitch stretch to the selected data.

This is a fast pitch shifter that uses minimal computation time.
