Mixing & Effects
Audio Main Output Modules
One module in the Console view is dedicated to each audio output port.
The number of main modules you will see depends upon the number and
type of audio outputs in your computer. Some sound cards have multiple
audio outputs; each stereo output will have its own module in the
Console view. If the mains on your audio card are mono, choose Options-
Audio, click the General tab, and click the Mono box. The mains will
then appear as mono in the Console view.
HereÕs what you can do in the main modules:
As you drag the volume sliders, the Value box in the toolbar displays the
volume level in decibels.
5. In Aux 1, turn up the Send and Return knobs to the approximate
level you want.
6. In Aux 1, drag the Send and Return Pan sliders to the
approximate positions you want.
7. In a track module that you want to patch through Aux 1, do the
following:
• Drag the Aux 1 Send Level slider to the approximate level you
want.
• Click the Aux 1 Send Enable button (located just under the
Aux 1 Send Level Slider).
8. Repeat step 7 for all the tracks you want to patch through Aux 1.
Play your tracks and adjust the Send Level sliders, the Send and Return
knobs, etc.
