9.6.7.3 Picking up a load from the ground
1. Slowly move the machine to the loadto be lifted with the
boomfullyretractedandtheforksinahorizontalpositionat
the height of the lifting position. Keep the forks raised just
enoughtoavoidcontactwiththeground.
2. Bringtheforksundertheloadtobelifteduptothecontact
withthetoolholderplate.
3. Pressthebrakepedalandmovethegearselectorinneutral.
4. Slightly lift the load and tilt the tool holder plate backward
settingitinthetransportposition.

CAUTION
Always observe the center of gravity of the load, tilt the forks enough to ensure stability and prevent the
loss of the load during braking.
DANGER
Never carry a load with boom raised and/or removed.
