Adjusting the throttle and
choke cables
Read Section D 4 for relevant
instructions on throttle and choke
cable adjusters.
Disassembling the
throttle control
Slip off the rubber gaiter (A), slacken
the check nut and turn out the
adjuster (10) until it slides off the
throttle control pulley on the throttle
body.
Rotate the throttle control pulley until
releasing the cable nipple (D) from the
pulley.
Release and remove the screws (4)
and take off the cover (13). Withdraw
the cable nipple (E) from the pulley
and turn out the adjuster (8) until it
slides out so as to disconnect the
throttle cable from the throttle
control.
Remove the throttle cable (6) from
the motorcycle.
Remove the cap (9) on the handlebar.
Slacken the two screws (3) retaining
the throttle control to the handlebar.
Remove the throttle control (5) from
the handlebar.
Regolazione cavo di
comando acceleratore e
starter
Per intervenire sui registri del cavo
comando acceleratore e del cavo
comando starter, consultare la Sez. D
4.
Smontaggio comando
acceleratore
Sollevare il cappuccio (A), allentare il
controdado e allentare il registro (10)
fino a sfilarlo dal bilancere comando
acceleratore sul corpo farfallato.
Ruotare il bilancere comando
acceleratore in modo da
disimpegnare il perno (D) di fermo
cavo sul bilancere.
Allentare e rimuovere le viti (4) e il
coperchio (13) e scollegare il cavo
acceleratore dal comando
acceleratore, sfilando il perno (E) di
fermo cavo sulla carrucola e
allentando il registro (8) fino a
rimuoverlo.
Rimuovere il cavo (6) comando
acceleratore dal veicolo.
Rimuovere il tappo (9) posto sul
semimanubrio.
Allentare le due viti (3) di fissaggio
comando acceleratore al
semimanubrio.
Rimuovere il comando acceleratore
(5) dal semimanubrio.
