Ingrassare opportunamente l’OR di
tenuta (8) sulla flangia.
Installare parzialmente la flangia nel
serbatoio, orientandola con la vite
centrale perfettamente in asse con la
mezzaria del serbatoio. Per facilitare
l’operazione di orientamento della
flangia sul serbatoio, installare
provvisoriamente il tappo e inserire
almeno una vite di fissaggio.
Successivamente inserire la
guarnizione (7) nella flangia porta
tappo serbatoio, e premere la flangia
portandola in battuta con il serbatoio.
Serrare le viti (2) della flangia
procedendo a croce.
Importante
Non serrare eccessivamente le
viti (2).
Procedere al rimontaggio del tappo (5)
serrando la vite (21) e le viti (4) alla
coppia prescritta (Sez. C 3).
Reassembling the filler
plug unit
Grease the flange O-ring (8).
Position the flange to the fuel tank.
The center screw must be lined up
with the fuel tank centerline. Fit the
plug and snug at least one retaining
screw to aid correct positioning of the
flange.
Fit the seal (7) in the filler plug flange
and press the flange fully home onto
the fuel tank.
Tighten the flange screws (2) in a
cross sequence.
Caution
Do not overtighten the screws
(2).
Refit the plug (5) and tighten the
screw (21) and the screws (4) to the
specified torque (Sect. C 3).
