tappo carburante
Per rimuovere il gruppo tappo (5) dal
serbatoio procedere nel modo
seguente:
aprire il tappo di carico.
Svitare le tre viti (4) esterne che
fissano la ghiera al pozzetto del
serbatoio.
Svitare la vite (21) antifurto interna;
rimuovere il tappo completo.
Svitare le viti (2) della flangia (6) al
serbatoio. Sollevare la flangia (6) con
relativa guarnizione, lasciandola
collegata alle tubazioni di sfiato e
drenaggio.
Sfilare la guarnizione (7).
All’interno del pozzetto del tappo si
trova il gommino (3) di sfiato.
In caso di sostituzione, applicare
uniformemente su tutto il perimetro
della gola del gommino (3) un adesivo
istantaneo.
Installare il gommino facendolo
aderire perfettamente nella sede del
pozzetto.
Removing the filler plug
unit
To remove the fuel filler plug unit (5),
proceed as follows:
open the filler plug.
Unscrew the three outer screws (4)
fixing the ring nut to the fuel filler
recess.
Unscrew the anti-theft screw (21) on
the inside.
Remove the complete filler plug unit.
Unscrew the screws (2) fixing the
flange (6) to the tank. Lift the flange
(6) with its seal and leave it hanging
on the drain and breather hoses.
Remove the seal (7).
The breather cap (3) is seated inside
the filler recess.
When fitting a new breather cap,
apply an even film of speed bonder all
round the cap (3) groove.
Install the cap. Make sure it becomes
properly seated in the seat in the
recess.
