Smontaggio sistema di
scarico
Importante
Prima di operare sull’impianto
di scarico, assicurarsi che il
motoveicolo sia spento da un tempo
sufficiente a raffreddarsi.
Svitare i due dadi (10) e le due viti (17)
di fissaggio staffe (12) e (19)
silenziatori alle piastre pedane
posteriori. Recuperare le colonnette
(16), i gommini (15) e le rosette (3).
Allentare la fascetta (6) di tenuta tubo
scarico testa verticale (5) e tubo
scarico testa orizzontale (7).
Allentare e rimuovere i dadi (4) di
fissaggio delle flange dei tubi di
scarico sulle teste.
Sfilare il tubo scarico testa orizzontale
(7) dalla testa e dal tubo scarico testa
verticale (5) e recuperare la
guarnizione (1).
Sfilare il tubo scarico testa verticale
(5) dalla testa e recuperare la
guarnizione (1).
Importante
Otturare i condotti di scarico
sulla testa per evitare che corpi
estranei entrino nella camera di
scoppio.

Removing the exhaust
system
Caution
Before beginning any
operations on the exhaust system,
switch off the engine and wait until
the engine and the exhaust system
have cooled down.
Loosen the two nuts (10) and the two
screws (17) fixing silencer brackets
(12) and (19) to rear footpeg holder
plates. Keep stud bolts (16), seals
(15) and washers (3).
Loosen clamp (6) on vertical head
exhaust pipe (5) and on horizontal
head exhaust pipe (7).
Loosen and remove nuts (4) securing
exhaust pipe flange to heads.
Take horizontal head exhaust pipe (7)
out of head and vertical head exhaust
pipe (5). Keep seal (1).
Take vertical head exhaust pipe (5)
out of head. Keep seal (1).
Caution
Block off head exhaust duct to
prevent any foreign matter from
entering the combustion chamber.
