Scollegare la connessione (B)
dell’indicatore dal cablaggio
principale.
Rimuovere l’indicatore (5) dal
serbatoio.
Prima del rimontaggio lubrificare con
grasso prescritto il filetto del raccordo
sul serbatoio quindi installare una
guarnizione nuova (6) nel dado (C)
dell’indicatore.
Introdurre il cavo con connettore per
la pompa nel serbatoio e montare
l’indicatore.
Serrare l’indicatore alla coppia di
serraggio prescritta (Sez. C 3),
orientando il cavo del connettore (B)
verso la parte posteriore del
serbatoio.
Importante
Un serraggio eccessivo può
procurare la rottura dell’indicatore.
Replacing the fuel sensor
Disconnect the connector (B) of the
fuel sensor from the main wiring
harness.
Remove the sensor (5) from the fuel
tank.
Grease the thread of the fuel tank
connector and fit a new seal (6) to the
nut (C) of the sensor before refitting.
Insert the sensor wire with pump
connector into the tank and install the
sensor.
Tighten the sensor to the specified
torque (Sect. C 3). The wire of
connector (B) must be pointing
towards the rear end of the tank.
Caution
Do not overtighten or the
sensor will damage.
