8 Decommissioning
You need to perform a number of activities if the machine is to
be shut down for a longer period of time or completely
decommissioned.
To decommission the machine:
Step
1. Switch off the main switch located centrally under the sewing
material sup
port surface.
2. Unplug the power plug.
3. Disconnect the pneumatic connection.
4. Remove residual oil from the oil pan under the sewing material
supp
ort surface using a cloth.
5. Cover the control panel to protect it from soil
ing.
6. Cover the control to protect it from soil
ing.
7. Cover the entire machine if possible
to protect it from soiling
and damage.
WARNING
Risk of injury from a lack of care!
Serious injuries may occur.
ONLY clean the machine when it is switched off.
Allow ONLY trained personnel to disconnect the
mach
ine.
CAUTION
Skin damage from contact with oil!
Oil can cause a rash if it comes into contact with
skin.
Avoid contact with oil residues.
