Commissioning error
Measurement cell travel screws are
still fastened (refer to Section 2.3.4).
Gain too high
Leak check, repair any leaks. (refer to
Section 6.4.4)
Measurement cell internal hardware
loose – return to nearest service
centre.
Mirrors have detached or degraded –
return to nearest service centre.
Correlation wheel has leaked replace
correlation wheel.
Cell temperature failure
Faulty heater or temperature
sensor
Refer to Section 7.3.
Mirror temperature failure
Faulty heater or temperature
sensor
Refer to Section 7.4.
Instrument resetting
Multiple possibilities
Check that the instrument is not
overheating.
Possibly a faulty power supply.
Corrupted firmware. Perform an
‘erase all settings’ in the Bootloader
Menu and reload or upgrade
firmware (refer to Section 6.5.4).
12 Voltage supply failure
Power supply has failed
Replace power supply.
No display
Contrast adjustment
required
Adjust the display contrast by
pressing either of the two scrolling
buttons on the front panel:
Press Up scrolling button () for
darker contrast.
Press Down scrolling button () for
lighter contrast.
DC power
Verify that the power supply is
providing ± 12 V, +5 V DC. TP40,
TP23 and TP41.
Display
Check the interface cable between
the display and the microprocessor
board.
Bad display or main
controller PCA
Replace the front panel display.
Replace the main controller PCA.
Bad cables are unlikely, but if suspect
it; perform a pin-for-pin continuity
test using an ohmmeter.
AC power
Verify that the mains power cable is
connected and the rear fan is
operating.
Sample pressure too high or low
Loss of pressure calibration
Perform a pressure calibration (refer
to Section 5.2).
