8. Press <Set> key to complete measurement.

Procedure 2:

1. Select Early OB or OB exam preset and perform image scanning in B mode.

2. Freeze the image when a standard fetal image or a clip of fetal images is obtained.

3. Press the user-defined key on the control panel or on the touch screen, depending on which key

has been configured as eOB/eOB+ function(see section 10.1.2 for the configuration).

4. The system automatically detects the fetal anatomic structure on the ultrasound image and

displays the result on the main screen.

5. If you are not satisfied with the measurement result, press <Update> key or move the trackball to

switch the active caliper and use trackball to do manual correction.

8.2.3.2. Auto NT Measurement

Auto NT is a semi-automatic method designed to measure the Nuchal Translucency. Auto NT

measurement is an optional feature that can only be used after the license is activated.

1. The fetal image for Auto NT measurement should be standard section, otherwise the

measurement accuracy may be affected. When no valid fetal image is recognized, the system will

prompt you with "No valid measurement results."

2. Auto NT measurement is only available on a frozen image.

3. The measurement result of Auto NT is for reference only. The measurement accuracy can be

affected by image quality, fetal image section, the position of ROI box, etc. Always confirm the

detection of NT structure by visual inspection before storing the results in the worksheet and

report. If the result is in doubt, manual or other effective methods should be applied to verify the

correctness.

To use Auto NT measurement:

1. Select Early OB exam preset and perform image scanning in B mode.

2. Freeze the image when a standard fetal image is obtained.

3. Zoom in the fetal image to proper size by using the spot zoom function.

4. Press <Measure> key on the console.

5. Select the measurement item NT on the touch screen.

6. If Auto is not the default tool, press Tool Options to switch to Auto.

7. A ROI box displays. Move the ROI box over the NT structure .Press <Update> key and then you

can roll the trackball to adjust the size of ROI box.

8. The auto measurement process starts. The result is displayed on the main screen.

9. Press <Set> key to complete measurement.
