COMMAND MODE
Global Configuration
COMMAND USAGE
â—† A link trace message is a multicast CFM frame initiated by a MEP, and
forwarded from MIP to MIP, with each MIP generating a link trace reply,
up to the point at which the link trace message reaches its destination
or can no longer be forwarded.
â—† Use this command to enable the link trace cache to store the results of
link trace operations initiated on this device. Use the ethernet cfm
linktrace command to transmit a link trace message.
â—† Link trace responses are returned from each MIP along the path and
from the target MEP. Information stored in the cache includes the
maintenance domain name, MA name, MEPID, sequence number, and
TTL value.
