Chapter 2: Setting up the Quantum
Surface Mount Plate Dimensions
The Surface Mount Plate is used to clamp or bolt the Quantum to a stable
mounting surface. It is an assembly of a standard 3½” mounting ring and a
FARO-designed base plate.
You can bolt the Surface Mount Plate directly to a surface using the mounting
screws in the Accessories Case. Make sure to tighten each mounting screw to
100-inch pounds.
