Chapter 2: Setting up the Quantum
Wired connections
The Quantum connects to the computer using a standard USB cable, or a
standard Ethernet cable. High speed operation is supported.
CAUTION: Complete all cable connections before applying power to the
computer and the Quantum.

You can also connect your Quantum to your computer using standard wireless
connections.
