Indicator and warning lamps in switches
G Warning
The operating safety of your vehicle could be
affected if maintenance work is carried out
incorrectly. As a result, you could lose control
of your vehicle and cause an accident. Also,
the safety systems may no longer be able to
protect you or others as they are designed to
do.
Always have maintenance work carried out at
an authorized Sprinter Dealer. In particular,
work relevant to safety or on safety-related
systems must be carried out at an authorized
Sprinter Dealer. There is a risk of an accident
and injury if this work is carried out incorrect-
ly.
Problem Possible cause/consequences and E Solutions
One or both of the indica-
tor lamps in the c
switch for the seat heating
are flashing.
There is insufficient voltage available as too many consum-
ers are switched on. The seat heating has been switched
off automatically.
E Switch off all non-essential consumers, for example
the reading lamps, interior lighting, etc.
The seat heating will switch back on automatically as
soon as there is sufficient voltage again.
The indicator lamps in the
switches for the wind-
shield heating z and/
or rear window
heating | are flashing.
There is insufficient voltage available as too many consum-
ers are switched on. The windshield heating and/or rear
window heating have switched off automatically.
E Switch off all non-essential consumers, for example
the reading lamps, interior lighting, etc.
If sufficient voltage is available again within
30 seconds, the windshield heating and/or rear win-
dow heating switch on again automatically.
