The anti-theft alarm sys-
tem is suddenly triggered.
You have opened the vehicle using the key while the anti-
theft alarm system was still primed.
E Press the % or & button.
or
E Insert the key into the ignition lock.
The anti-theft alarm system is deactivated.
You hear a warning signal. A message appears in the display.
E Observe the instructions on (e page 220).
You are driving with the handbrake applied.
E Release the handbrake (e page 104).
You opened the driver's door and forgot to switch off the
lights.
E Turn the light switch to $.
G Warning
You are not wearing your seat belt.
E Fasten your seat belt (e page 35).
