Job Card TSG A015 - Lift Movement Troubleshooting
12. Release the Arm slowly downwards and let it drop down.
• If the Arm stays at its current position or moves from its original position and stops at a distance of
at least 2 cm (0.79 inches) above the bottom Gantry baseplate (see illustration 10), the Lift Gas
Spring is in good condition and does not need changing.
• If the Arm moves (slowly or rapidly) down to the Gantry baseplate (see illustration 10), the Lift
Gas Spring is defective, and needs changing according to Job Card D/R A206A - Lift Gas Spring
on page 1183.
