Table 4-7 Functions after the 3D Acquisition
Step Task Expected Results
1
PW MODE
rotary control: Rotation about X-axis of the reference image.
M MODE
rotary control: Rotation about the Y-axis of the reference image.
PD MODE
rotary control: Rotation about the Z-axis of the reference image.
2
C MODE
rotary control: Movement along Z-axis of the reference image.
TRACKBALL
: Movement along X- and Y-axis of the reference image.
3
NICHE
Parts of the orthogonal sections A, B and C are compiled to a 3D-section aspect.
The aspect shows a quasi spatial cut into the reference image.
4
REF. IMAGE To select the Reference image among A, B, C or 3D.
5
INIT Resets rotations and translations of a volume section to the initial (start) position.
6
3D INIT Resets the 3D image to the initial (start) position.
7
SRI / SRI 3D
Speckle Reduction Imaging (SRI) to reduce speckle which interferes with the
sectional planes or rendered 3D image.
8
3D ORIENTATION
To change the image orientation of the 3D image.
9
ZOOM
The 3D image as well as the sectional planes can be varied by their aspect ratio.
10
MIX To adjust the mix ratio between two calculated modes.
11
TH. LOW All color values below the level will be disregarded for calculation of the surface.
12
MAGI CUT Ability to electronically manipulate the images and cut way “3D artifacts”.
13
RENDER MODE
To select the Render Mode (Image Type and Render Algorithm)
