Camera Camera refl ects the settings from a tethered camera with the amount of information
depending on the camera model.
Capture information The amount of capture information also depends on the camera
model.
Color Correction The color correction is a sophisticated control for selective and subtle
color shifts. Controls saturation and vibrancy of selected areas (Figure 5-31). You can also
check the box Reproduction Mode to produce a colormetric representation which uti-
lizes other imaging techniques including the use of a linear fi lm response curve. The steps
for accomplishing a color correction are shown in Figure 5-32.

Color Information Color Information provides an RGB readout of the area beneath a cursor
located on an image in the Viewer window.
Crop Tool A tool to set the format and the orientation of the Crop Tool for an artistic change
in the image. Clicking on the Mask icon brings up a window to select color and opacity
of the mask.
Curves Curve adjustments can be made as a combined RGB setting or by selected individual
channels (Figure 5-33). To adjust the curve, click and drag on the graph. Check box on the
tool header bar to see whether preview image refl ects the updated changes. To sample an
area of the viewer image, click the eyedropper icon and mouse over the area. The value is
automatically represented on the curve.
Exposure EV, contrast and brightness can be set numerically with sliders.
White Balance Has standard presets and other preset possibilities and allows color tempera-
ture adjustments and Tint compensation to assure consistent colors within a batch.
