5 Preparing the operating table
Before beginning maintenance or repair work, prepare the
operating table in accordance with the following work steps:
1. Activate the parking brake of the operating table.
2. Move the operating table into the zero position.
3. Remove the accessories from the operating tabletop.
4. Remove the tabletop sections from the operating tabletop.
5. Move the operating table into the highest position.
6. Remove the pad from the operating tabletop so that it is not
exposed to general damage.
7. Remove the column protection (cladding protection).
