A.1 Logical Structure
Figure A-1 TaiShan 2280 V2 logical structure
l The TaiShan 2280 V2 uses two Huawei-developed Kunpeng 920 processors, each
supporting 16 DDR4 DIMMs.
l The CPUs interconnect with each other through two Hydra buses at a speed of up to 30
GT/s.
l The Ethernet FlexIOs can be cards with four GE ports, and are connected to CPUs
through high-speed SerDes interfaces.
l The screw-in RAID controller card connects to CPU 1 through PCIe buses, and to the
drive backplanes through SAS signal cables. The drive backplanes support various local
storage configurations.
l The iBMC is based on the Huawei Hi1710 management chip and provides a VGA port,
management network port, and debugging serial port.
