4.5.6 Connecting Power Cables
Power cables are used only for dedicated servers. Do not use them for other devices.
Step 1 Connecting cables to a PSU. For details, see 3.5 Connecting Cables to a PSU.
Step 2 Insert the other end of the power cable into the AC power socket on the cabinet. The AC
power socket is located horizontally at the rear of the cabinet. Select a jack on the power
socket for connection.
Step 3 Bind the power cable to the CMA using cable ties.

4.5.7 Verifying Cable Connections
Before verifying cable connections, check that the power is cut off. Otherwise, any incorrect
connection or loose connection may cause human injury or device damage.
Check cable connections against Table 4-3.

Power cable Power cables are correctly connected to the rear of the chassis.
Network cable Network cables are connected correctly to the management port or
service ports on the rear panel of the chassis.
Ground cable The TaiShan 2280 V2 server does not provide a separate ground port.
It is grounded through the ground cable of a power cable. Ensure that
the power cables of the PSUs are in good contact.
