NOTE
l Before performing operations in this chapter, make sure that optional parts to be installed are
available and compatible. Use the Intelligent Computing Compatibility Checker to check parts
compatibility.
l After parts replacement, upgrade the software, firmware, and CPLDs of the new components to
either the version in the customer environment (recommended) or to the latest version. For details,
see the TaiShan Rack Server Upgrade Guide.
l After parts replacement, restore component configurations (including iBMC, BIOS, and RAID) on
the customer live network.
