Are the sensors free of chad?
Go to step 4 on page 104. Wipe the sensors with a soft
cloth to remove the chad.
Remove the tractor and wipe the
upper and lower surfaces of the
sensor with antistatic liquid (IBM
P/N 2200118).
If you judge the amount of chad
to be excessive, advise the
customer to:
v Frequently clean out the chad.
v Ask the forms supplier to
reduce the chad.
Run T&D in automatic test mode
to verify correct printer operation.
