Chapter 7. Administration - Summary Tab
In this chapter, we give you an overview of the Summary tab of the IBM System Storage DS
(Subsystem Management) window.
We explain:
򐂰 How to monitor the basic status of your storage subsystem
򐂰 How to get a basic overview of your installed hardware components
򐂰 How to get a basic information about the current logical configuration
The first tab on the left side of Subsystem Manager in Tab area is Summary tab. Figure 7-1
on page 184 shows a simply configured system that is running in an optimal status.
