Chapter 12. Administration - Setup tab
In this chapter, we describe the Setup tab of the DS Storage Manager. This tab can be used
for initial configuration of a new DS3500 Storage Subsystem. The Setup tab contains links to
tasks that you can perform when setting up a storage subsystem such as setting the storage
subsystem name and password, configure the Ethernet management ports, enable the
premium features, configure the iSCSI settings, configuring capacities on the storage
subsystem, and others. You can click a link to open the corresponding dialog or wizard.

If you successfully provide all these base configurations which are referenced in this chapter,
you can be almost sure that your subsystem is properly configured.

tasks can be done also from other menu in DS Storage Manager. We will describe all the
tasks and provide you with appropriate links more information about a particular task as
necessary.
