Detailed description of Arrays and Logical Drives definition is in Chapter 9, “Administration -
Logical Tab” on page 225. This chapter describes all manual configurations needed for an
array and a logical drive definition.
12.7 Map Logical Drives
This link in the Setup tab of DS Storage Manager navigates you to a window that is used to
assign existing logical drive to existing host. This window is described in section 11.6, “Define
Additional Mapping” on page 298. All other configuration steps needed for assigning logical
drives to hosts are also described in Chapter 11, “Administration - Mappings Tab” on
page 281.
12.8 Save Configuration
Use the Save Configuration link to open a window (Figure 12-12 on page 315) where you
can save the logical configuration settings of a storage subsystem to a script file. You can
then select Tools Load Storage Subsystem Configuration in the Enterprise
Management window to copy the configuration data back from the saved file to a storage
subsystem with the exact hardware configuration. For more information about the Load
Storage Subsystem Configuration option, refer to Chapter 6, “Administration - Enterprise
Management” on page 161.
