After finishing the installation install the multipath driver as shown in 20.1.2, “Installing the
RDAC Multipath Driver” on page 610 and modify the zoning configuration as shown in 20.3.3,
“SuSE Linux final zoning topology” on page 634.
20.3.3 SuSE Linux final zoning topology
The final zoning configuration for RDAC for linux should include the following considerations:
– Multiple fibre channel HBA’s within the same server must not able to discover the same
DS3500 controller port.
– Each fibre channel HBA are isolated from each other.
– Each fibre channel HBA must able to discover only one DS3500 controller and not
both.
An example of this is shown in Figure 20-35. Follow the procedure on a on page 631 to create
Zone 1 and Zone 2.
