You have a choice to set Start and Stop level for cache flushing, and the Cache block size
there. General recommendation, which is good for majority of installations, is 50%/50% for
Start/Stop cache flushing and 16kB cache block size. But in some cases a different setting
can achieve better performance results. All settings in this window are immediately accepted
if OK is selected and it does not need any reset of DS3500 storage subsystem, so its is
possible to test different settings during regular production on the subsystem.
Default Host Type
The default host type can be changed in window as in Figure 8-17, after you select Storage
Subsystem  Change  Default Host Type. The default host type is used as initial host
type during new host definition in Mapping Tab.
