Î Power Button Mode [On/Off]
The Power Button mode BIOS specifies how the power button functions.

On/Off DEFAULT
When the power button is pressed the system is
either turned on or off

Suspend
When the power button is pressed the system goes
into suspend mode
Î Restore on AC Power Loss [Last State]
The Restore on AC Power Loss BIOS option specifies what state the system returns to if
there is a sudden loss of power to the system.

Power Off
The system remains turned off

Power On
The system turns on
Î
Last State DEFAULT
The system returns to its previous state. If it was on, it
turns itself on. If it was off, it remains off.
Î Suspend Mode [S1(POS)]
The Suspend Mode BIOS option specifies the sleep state your system will enter when it
is not being used.
Î
S1 (POS) DEFAULT
System appears off. The CPU is stopped; RAM is
refreshed; the system is running in a low power mode.
Î
S3 (STR)
System appears off. The CPU has no power; RAM is in
slow refresh; the power supply is in a reduced power
mode.
Î PME Resume [Disabled]
The PME Resume BIOS option specifies if the system will be roused from a suspended or
standby state when there is activity on the PCI PME (power management event)
controller.
