indicate that you are about to transition
to Approach Active. At 2 nm from the
FAF, the CDI sensitivity will start to
gradually scale from 1.0 to 0.3 nm full
scale. At the FAF, CDI sensitivity will
be at 0.3 nm full scale.
2. When you are near the Final Approach
Fix, the MSG annunciator will flash
and a standard Waypoint Arrival Alert
will turn on. Press MSG to
acknowledge the message and then
press NAV to return to Navigation
Mode.
