2. Remove the line card cover by grasping the handles and pulling them straight out to expose the slot
for the line card. See Figure 90 on page 196.

CAUTION
: Do not li the line card by holding the edge connectors or the handles on
the faceplate. Neither the handles nor the edge connectors can support the weight of
the line card. Liing the line card by the handles or edge connectors might bend them.
If the edge connectors are bent, you may not be able to seat the line card in the chassis
properly. See Figure 91 on page 196.

3. Remove the line card from the anstac bag and inspect it for any damage before you install it in the
chassis.
