Required Tools and Parts for Replacing the SRX1500 Services Gateway Components
The following tools and parts are required to replace hardware components.
•
3/8 in. nut driver or pliers
•
Blank panels (if component is not reinstalled)
•
Electrostatic bag or antistatic mat
•
Electrostatic discharge (ESD) grounding wrist strap
•
Flat-blade (–) screwdriver
•
Phillips (+) screwdrivers, numbers 1 and 2
•
Wire cutters

SRX1500 Services Gateway Field Replaceable Units Overview
Field-replaceable units (FRUs) are components that you can replace at your site. The
power supplies are the only FRUs on the SRX1500 Services Gateway. The power supplies
(if redundant) are hot-swappable. You can remove and replace the power supply without
powering off the services gateway or disrupting the services gateway functions.
