Simple voltage output and current measurement
This example demonstrates how to configure a voltage output make a precision voltage and current
measurement using the default instrument configuration.
Equipment required
One Series 2280 Power Supply
1 kΩ resistor
Two banana cables
Set up remote communications
You can run this application from the front panel or any of the supported communication interfaces for
the instrument (GPIB, USB, or ethernet).
The following figure shows the rear-panel connection locations for the remote communication
interfaces. For additional information about setting up remote communications, see Remote
communications interfaces (on page 2-44).
