Rear-panel output mating connector
Available connections on the rear output mating connector include the output high (+), output low (-),
sense high (+), and sense low (-) terminals. The rear output terminals accept wire sizes from AWG 20
to AWG 12.
Two-wire local sense connection
You can connect a device to the instrument in a two-wire sense connection as shown in the following
figure.

If you use a two-wire sense connection, you can use the offset function of Series 2280 to cancel out
the wire resistance. For details, refer to Relative offset (on page 4-12).
