Error queue
NOTE See Section 14 for details on the error queue.
[:NEXT]?
:SYSTem:ERRor[:NEXT]? Read oldest error (code and message)
Description As error and status messages occur, they are placed in the error queue.
The error queue is a first-in, first-out (FIFO) register that can hold up to
10 messages. After sending this command and addressing the Model
2500 to talk, the oldest message is sent to the computer and is then
removed from the queue.
NOTE The :STATus:Queue? command performs the same function as
:SYSTem:ERRor[:NEXT]?. See “STATus subsystem,” page 17-78.
