Setting the deflector plates
• Observe the safety instructions at the beginning of the section.
• Depending on the operating conditions, the deflector plates (2) may have to be adjusted to
provide for equal crop distribution across the entire area.
• Move the machine to the working position.
• Raise the cross conveyor over the terminal.
• Switch off the PTO and then the tractor engine, secure the tractor against rolling and
remove the ignition key.
Set the deflector plates as needed and tighten the palm grips.

Cross conveyor in use
For operation with activated cross conveyor we recommend removing the deflector plates.
• Move the machine to the working position.
• Raise the cross conveyor over the terminal.
• Switch off the PTO and then the tractor engine, secure the tractor against rolling and
remove the ignition key.
• Close the stopcock on the cross conveyor.
• Remove the deflector plates (2) and put to one side.
• Open the stopcock on the cross conveyor.
• Start the tractor and lower the cross conveyor over the terminal.
• Switch off the tractor engine and remove the ignition key.
• Insert the deflector plates (2) into the brackets (1) and secure using the palm grips.
• Set the tedder flaps as required.
