Chute inside hopper
4. Turn OFF both the hydraulic pump and the engine.
5. Lock out and tag out the vehicle (see Locking Out and Tagging Out the Vehicle on page 14).
6. Enter the hopper on the right side.
7. Inspect the chute, pivot and fittings.
8. Check for leaks.
9. Inspect the rubber bumper (see Figure 3-112). Replace if necessary.
10. Lubricate the front grease fitting of the chute pivot (on units w/o an automated arm) [see Figure
3-109].
NOTE: To access this grease fitting point, you will have to remove the right-hand side floating panel
(see Figure 3-61).

11. Exit the hopper.
12. Inspect the other side of the chute, including pivot and fittings, To do so:
12 a. Start the engine and engage the hydraulic pump.
12 b. Move the chute towards the right side of the hopper.
12 c. Turn OFF both the hydraulic pump and the engine.
