5. Disconnect both hydraulic hoses from the faulty cylinder.

6. Cap each hose and cylinder fitting as soon as they are disconnected (see Figure 3-159).
Caution!
Make sure to place a bucket under the hydraulic hoses or use absorbent material to avoid
oil spills.
