SYMPTOM CAUSE REMEDY
No hydraulic power.
Low hydraulic oil level.
Change oil and replace hydraulic lter.
Hydraulic lter clogged.
Hydraulic pumps or pump drive
coupling damaged or excessive
leakage in hydraulic system.
Hydraulic system
functions slowly.
Low hydraulic oil level. Add hydraulic oil.
Air in hydraulic oil (foaming).
Inspect charge side hoses and ttings to pump
for leakage. Tighten ttings or replace hoses and
ttings as needed.
Hydraulic lter clogged. Add oil and replace hydraulic lter.
Extremely low pump ow or excessive
leakage in system.
See your authorized dealer.
Hydraulic system
overheats.
Low hydraulic oil level. Rell with hydraulic uid.
Defective temperature gauge or
sensor giving wrong temperature
reading.
Replace gauge or sensor.
Excessive ambient air temperature
and high-duty cycle.
Operate broom at slower ground speed and
maximum engine RPMs during hot weather.
Plugged ns on uid cooler.
Clean ns and correct any other problems with
cooling air ow.
Worn hydrostatic pump. Repair or replace.
Hydraulic functions
make noise.
Low hydraulic oil level. Add hydraulic oil.
Hydraulic lter restricted. Change oil and replace hydraulic lter.
Hydraulic lter relief valve stuck or set
too low.
See your authorized dealer.
Coolant temperature
above normal.
Radiator ns damaged or obstructed
by debris.
Inspect radiator ns. Clean, repair or replace.
Collapsed or restricted radiator hose. Inspect hoses. Replace if needed.
Loose fan drive belt.
Check belt tension and tighten or replace as
needed.
Cooling fan shroud damaged or
missing.
Inspect shroud. Repair or replace.
Incorrect or malfunctioning radiator
cap.
Check radiator cap and replace if needed.
Temperature gauge or sensor
malfunctioning.
Repair or replace.
Thermostat stuck in closed position. Test thermostat. Replace if necessary.
Dirt, scale or rust in the cooling
system.
Clean cooling system.
Loose wiring, faulty connection. Repair or replace loose wiring or connectors.
Coolant level too low. Add coolant.
Excessive fuel
consumption.
Air lter elements clogged. Clean or replace air lter elements.
Fuel system leak. Drain and ush fuel tank, then rell. Replace fuel
lter. If this doesn’t correct the problem, contact
your authorized dealer.
Incorrect grade of fuel.
