SYMPTOM CAUSE REMEDY
Park brake light
comes on when
traveling.
Hydraulic pressure has dropped to
1300 PSI or less.
Check hydrostatic travel system charge
pressure.
Park brake won’t
release.
Faulty brake switch. Replace brake switch.
Loose wiring to brake solenoid. Repair/replace wiring.
Low charge pressure to brakes (300
PSI or less).
Check/adjust charge relief valves on hydrostatic
pump 350 - 400 PSI in neutral. Engine must be at
maximum RPMs when adjusting charge pressure.
Repair/replace hydrostatic pump if needed.
Park brake won’t hold.
Faulty switch/wiring. Repair/replace switch or wiring.
Faulty brake. Repair/replace brake(s) on rear wheels.
Machine lunges when
placed in forward,
reverse or neutral,
or there is excessive
noise in the drive
system..
Traction pump malfunction. See your authorized dealer.
Differential drive malfunction. See your authorized dealer.
Transfer case malfunction. See your authorized dealer.
Two-speed won’t shift.
Two-speed valve not receiving signal.
Check all switches and wiring. Replace if
needed.
Park brake not set. Set park brake.
Control valve sticks or
is hard to operate.
Control valve linkage binding. Repair linkage.
Broken return spring on control valve.
Or contamination in valve bore, scored
valve bore, or bent valve bore.
Contact your authorized dealer.
Traction pump
responds slowly.
Low hydraulic oil level. Check and ll hydraulic tank to proper level.
Traction pump malfunction. See your authorized dealer.
Hydraulic oil is cold. Allow machine to warm completely before driving.
Drive selector levers
or pedal does not
move freely.
Bent, damaged or corroded linkage. Clean, straighten and adjust linkage.
