This section provides cable routing information for the server model with 16 x 2.5-inch Anybay front drive
bays.
8i RAID adapters (Trimode)
The following shows the cable connections for the 16 x 2.5-inch Anybay configuration with two Trimode 8i
RAID adapters for U.3 drives.

Backplane 1: SAS Trimode 8i RAID adapter on PCIe slot 2: C0
Backplane 2: SAS Trimode 8i RAID adapter on PCIe slot 3: C0
