Remove the front I/O assembly
Use this information to remove the front I/O assembly. 
About this task
Attention: 
•  Read “Installation Guidelines” on page 185 to ensure that you work safely.
•  Power off the server and disconnect all power cords for this task.
•  Prevent exposure to static electricity, which might lead to system halt and loss of data, by keeping static- 
sensitive components in their static-protective packages until installation, and handling these devices with 
an electrostatic-discharge wrist strap or other grounding system.

Procedure
Step 1.  If the security bezel is installed, remove it. See “Remove the security bezel” on page 350.
Step 2.  Remove the top cover. See “Remove the top cover” on page 376.
Step 3.  Remove the air baffle. See “Remove the air baffle” on page 196.
Step 4.  Disconnect the cables of the front I/O assembly from the system board. See “Front I/O assembly” 
on page 72.
Step 5.  Remove the front I/O assembly from the front chassis.

a.  Remove the screws that secure the front I/O assembly.
b.  Slide the media bay out of the front chassis.
Step 6.  Remove the LCD diagnostics panel from its assembly.
