Install the full-height cable wall brackets
Use this information to install the full-height cable wall brackets.
About this task
Attention:
• Read “Installation Guidelines” on page 185 to ensure that you work safely.
• Prevent exposure to static electricity, which might lead to system halt and loss of data, by keeping static-
sensitive components in their static-protective packages until installation, and handling these devices with
an electrostatic-discharge wrist strap or other grounding system.

Procedure

Step 1. Align the cable wall brackets with the two holes on the system board. Install the brackets onto the
system board.
Step 2. Install the two screws to secure the brackets.
After you finish
1. Install any parts you have removed. See Chapter 4 “Hardware replacement procedures” on page 185.
2. Connect any cables. See Chapter 3 “Internal cable routing” on page 71.
3. Complete the parts replacement. See “Complete the parts replacement” on page 381.
