Troubleshooting and fault elimination
8200SHB01998-2
8.1.3 Maloperation of the drive
Maloperation Possible causes
Motor does not rotate
-
DC-bus voltage too low
(Red LED is blinking every 0.4 seconds, message LU is indicated)
-
Controller inhibited
(Green LED is blinking, display of the operating module: OFF, STOP or AS_LC)
-
Setpoint = 0
-
DC braking active
-
Quick-stop function active
-
JOG setpoint activated and JOG frequency = 0
-
Fault message is displayed (see chapter 8.3)
-
Mechanical motor brake is not released
Motor does not rotate
smoothly
-
Defective motor cable
-
Maximum current C022 and C023 too low
-
Motor underexcited or overexcited (check parameter setting)
Current consumption of
motor too high
-
Setting of C016 too high
-
Setting of C015 too low
-
C088 and C091 are not adapted to the motor data
8.2 Fault analysis with the history buffer
The history buffer is used to trace faults. The fault messages are stored in the
history buffer in the order of their occurrence.
The memory locations can be retrieved via the codes.
