In order to correct the dancer posion, the circumferenal speed at the winder must be
higher or lower than the line speed. If the circumferenal speed increases or decreases signi-
cantly relave to the line speed during this, use the resulng circumferenal speed v

This scenario occurs in applicaons in which a certain length of material is stored in the
dancer mechanics.
