7.3.2 Source for
circumferenal speed
In the default seng, the master speed of the machine, which is applied as the Actual line
velocity in the technology applicaon, is also used for the diameter calculaon. 40x5051:009
If e.g. a large quanty of material is buered in a dancer, the speed value does not correspond
to the circumferenal speed at the reel. In this case, a material web encoder in front of the
reel detects the circumferenal speed.
The circumferenal speed source is acvated via the parameter Source of line velocity for
diameter calculaon. 40x5051:069 Bit
