7.9 Scaling the actual dancer posion
The signal of the actual dancer posion is scaled to the upper and lower dancer limit posion.
This simplies the specicaon of the setpoint and the monitoring of the dancer posion.
The reference values for the scaling must be dened during commissioning:

alue is the reference for the upper limit posion, i.e. corresponds to +100%. The min-
imum ma
terial length is located on the dancer. 40x5052:171
This value is the reference for the lower limit posion, i.e. corresponds to -100%. The max-
imum material length is located on the dancer.40x5052:172
The reference values for the scaling can be dened in 2 ways:

If these reference values are known, they can be manually entered into the parameters for
