10 Congure speed control
Two
operang modes are available for conguring the speed control:
•
Operang mode "CiA 402 Velocity mode (vl)" ^ 170
Here, a speed-controlled movement of the drive is realised by dening a speed setpoint.
•
Operang mode "CiA 402 Cyclic sync velocity mode (csv)" ^ 175
This operang mode provides a fast speed follower with torque/feed force feedforward
control.
The condions are a correct entry of the motor data (Motor data) and the parameter seng
of the motor control (Conguring the motor control).
10.1 Basic seng
The following describes the steps required for conguring the speed control.

Set the maximum motor speed in Max motor speed . 40x6080

Set the rated motor torque in Motor rated torque . 40x6076

Set the posive torque limit. 40x60E0

t the negave torque limit. 40x60E1
The speed control is now acve and the inverter responds to the speed setpoint.
